Terilynne Muehleisen Knox
Artistic Director/Owner. Former member of the Central Pennsylvania Youth Ballet, Bristol Ballet and Roanoke Ballet Theatre. BA degree in the teaching of ballet from Virginia Intermont College.
BA degree in dance from Adelphi University. Founder, principal dancer and soloist with the Contemporary Ballet Company of Oyster Bay. Principal dancer and soloist with Dance Theatre of Long Island, Zawacki Ballet Company and Orlando Ballet, New York.
Danced with Gene Kelly and Radio City Rockettes. On the board of directors of the Pan American Teachers of Dance.
Butler University BA cum laude and University of North Carolina-Greensboro MFA. Professor at University of North Carolina-Charlotte teaching ballet technique, history and repertory. Taught at Ballet Hispanico and for Zena Rommet in New York City. Trained extensively with the Martha Graham and David Howard Schools. Performed as soloist with four major companies.
Danced with the Atlanta Ballet and the Ballet Rotaru, touring Romania and performing at the George Enescu Festival in Bucharest. Danced as a soloist with the Oregon Ballet Theatre for three years. After relocating to NC, performed as a guest artist with area companies.
B.F.A degree in Dance from Ohio University and M.F. A degree from Hollins University in partnership with the American Dance Festival. Her choreography has been presented at the American College Dance Festival and the Detroit Dance City Festival

Mindy Hudson Asa
graduated from Lees McRae College with a degree in musical theatre with a concentration in dance. She has choreographed & performed in many shows over the years, both professionally & regionally, & has received nominations for Best Actress & Best Choreography for local productions for BroadwayWorld.com’s Charlotte awards.
began his professional career & dancing with the Culture Shock DC Hip-Hop dance company. Working his way through the ranks from principal dancer, dance captain and eventually Assistant Artistic Director. Also danced with Aysha Upchurch’s Life, Rhythm, Move Project, and Kelly King’s Contradiction Dance company. He also served as Assistant Artistic Director for Dr. Darius Gaymon’s Splittin’ Image Crew. He has had the opportunity to dance at the esteemed Kennedy Center in Washington, DC multiple times. Finally, he served as the Artistic Director for Afta Shock DC, the more ‘seasoned’ group of dancers of the Culture Shock family, from 2013-2016. He served on the Culture Shock DC Board of Directors for many years. Damon sees dance and movement as his life’s passion and purpose, and enjoys spreading that love wherever he goes.
